In Jyllands Park Zoo we have a breeding white stork couple, and we have been lucky enough to be able to send kids to other zoos. Our storks do not fly the 10,000 km to Africa in the winter as the wild storks do. Instead, we make sure that they come to winter stables where they feel warm and comfortable.
Storks are monogamous and when 3-4 years old they form pairs for life.
