At Jyllands Park Zoo, we offer various forms of teaching in our school service.
The teaching is adapted to pupils in primary school. 0.-10. grade (also for special classes).
The teaching can be adapted to your wishes if our teaching offer does not match yours.

Educational programs
0.-4.grade – Touch and feel
We look at skulls, claws, skins, feathers and other exciting things and talk about the various effects of the animals in our collection.
Time: 10.00 – 14.00 during the opening season. Duration: approx.1 hour.
Price: 350,- for the lesson + entrance (Institutional price).
Learning Objective: Students will learn about the different effects in our collection.
0.-10.grade– Mammals
There are a lot of different mammals, that are found both on land and in water.
We take a tour of the park and talk a little about the different kinds of mammals that exist and why they look the way they do.
We will greet the llamas and hear whether they spit or not. Other than that we will also see the Watuss-oxen, which has the world's largest horns. There may also be the possibility of hand-feeding some of the park's animals.
Time: 10.00 – 14.00 during the opening season. Duration: approx.1 hour.

0.-10.grade – Predators
Jyllands Park Zoo has many predators ranging from suricates to lions. By looking at some of them, we can get an impression of their development.
We will, among other things, look closely at a tiger cranium and the predators' dangerous tooth sets. Furthermore, we will touch on questions such as: How do lions hunt? How does the Banded Mongoose kill poisonous snakes?
There may also be opportunities to see a feeding.

0.-10.grade– Birds
We have many different birds in Jyllands Park Zoo - Get an insight into the world of birds.
We will, among other things, talk about beak and feathers - and is it really all birds that can fly?
Some birds are colorful, others are hunters - hear about the different birds we have in the park.
There may also be the opportunity to see a feeding of some of the park's birds.

How do frogs multiply? And can snakes close their eyes?
We take a closer look at the various reptiles and toads found in Jyllands Park Zoo. Try to touch a snake, turtle or lizard. We also take a look at the food for the reptiles.
