There are a number of different monkeys in Jyllands Park Zoo. We have baboons, patas monkeys, crab-eating macaque, squirrel moneys and 2 species of tamarins. We also have ring-tailed lemurs that belong to the prosimians.
Squirrel monkeys
Squirrel monkeys belong to the South American marmosets. They are perhaps best known from the stories of Pippi Longstocking, where Hr. Nilsson in the Pippi Longstocking films is a squirrel monkey.
